Small Gatherings Venue
Rental Guidelines
- General Guidelines * No open flames.
- * No smoking, vaping, or hookah.
- * No confetti.
- * No tape, glue, or adhesives are to be used on walls or fixtures.
- * Small Gatherings can accommodate 10 - 40 people for all events.
- * The event rental period may not extend past 10:00 p.m. The minimum rental period for an event is two hours. * Small Gatherings does not take responsibility for any loss, theft, illness, or injury that may occur during their events. It is important for attendees to take precautions and be responsible for their own belongings and actions while at Small Gatherings. * Before leaving the venue, please make sure to empty all trash and remove personal items. Failure to clear the venue by the event end time may result in additional charges of $125 per hour. Please also ensure that the kitchenette and event space is free of debris. If not properly cleaned by the event's end time, a cleaning fee of $150 will be charged.
- Reservations
- All Reservations must be coordinated through Small Gatherings consultants by appointment only. Please call 248-564-2161 regarding availability. The guest indicated on the signed agreement can only make changes to the event.
- Event Deposits and Payment
- The total balance is due 14 days before your event. No exceptions. A $100 non refundable deposit is required to reserved your date. This deposit will go towards your final balance. All rental prices are subject to Michigan’s 6% sales tax.
- Cancellation Policy
- Should a cancellation occur 90 days or more prior to the scheduled event date, 50% of the total paid will be refunded less the non refundable deposit. If cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to the scheduled event, building credit for the amount paid, less the non refundable deposit will be issued to use to reschedule your event. The building credit expires 1 year from your event date.
- Food and Beverage Outside catering is allowed. No BYOB, a licensed bartender must serve alcohol. Small Gatherings has a prep kitchenette, and no cooking is allowed.
- Set-up and Delivery Set up and delivery times must be coordinated with Small Gatherings consultants.
- Outside Services
- All entertainment, musicians, photographers, and rental equipment (i.e., tables, chairs, and piano) must be cleared through Small Gatherings consultants.
- Decorations
- We offer full-service décor. Any other decorations or specialty lighting must be coordinated with Small Gatherings consultants.
